The two graphs inlustrate the adoption of public vehicle and car in five different Australian cities from 2000 to 2010. They genrally present that the vehicle preference varied in different cities.
Comparatively speaking, public transportation were prevelant among people from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, a respectively rate of 20%, 18% and 15 % in 2000 saw its initial popularity, starting at 24%, 18% and 28% respectively in 2010. In contrast, it had experienced a still trend in the same time-frame in Peth and Adelaide.
In terms of the private cars, the users in 2000 from Adelaide (70%), Peth (50%) and Brisbane (40%) took the bigger percentages than those from Melbourne (30%) and Sydeny (20%), and had kept their steady growth, raising their individual portortion by 10% in 2010. Nevertheless, those number of car drivers in Sydney and Melbourne saw up and down and reached 30% and 21% in 2010.
Overall, it is obvious that people from different cities have various decision of transport and this is closely connected to the tiers of cities.
