During those years, women had the highest consumption rate, reaching a peak of around 35% in 2006. In comparison, men and children portrayed the second lowest and lowest percentages, with their highest values at around 28% in 2006 and slightly over 25% in 2007, respectively.
Consumption by female participants experienced a sustained rise from 2001 (above 20%) to 2006 (approximately 35%), before dropping the rest of the period to over 30% in 2008. Similarly, the percentage of the youngest participants rose dramatically and reached it maximum point in 2007, at more than 25%, before dipping to under 25% in 2008, while the male category commenced at above 15% in 2001 and reached its apex of around 27% in 2006.
