The two pie charts illustrate the proportion of secondary school students at a school in the UK who studied various subjects—Geography, Art, History, Business, Drama, RS, and IT—in 1995 and in the present year.

Overall, it is evident that Geography and History remained the most popular subjects in both years. Meanwhile, RS and Drama, which were offered in 1995, have now been replaced by IT, which has become the most chosen subject in the present year.

In 1995, the most popular subjects were History (26%) and Geography (21%), together accounting for nearly half of all student selections. Business attracted 16% of students, while Drama, Art, and RS were chosen by 12%, 15%, and 9% respectively.

In contrast, in the current year, History and Geography continue to be widely chosen, with 25% and 23% respectively. Business has remained stable at 16%, while interest in Art has dropped significantly to just 8%. Notably, IT has emerged as the most popular subject, with 27% of students selecting it. Drama and RS are no longer offered or chosen by students.
