The two pie charts show the proportion of students enrolled in various subjects in 1995 and at present. Generally, while History and Business remained relatively popular, there were significant changes in other subject preferences.
In 1995, the most popular subject was History, accounting for 26% of students, followed by Geography at 21%. Business and Art were common choices, with 16% and 15% respectively. Drama and Religious Studies had lower proportions, at 12% and 9%.
Currently, IT has become the most popular subject, chosen by 27% of students. History and Geography were still many interesting students, with 25% and 23% severally. Business remains stable at 16%, but Art saw a notable decrease to only 8%. Drama and Religious Studies were no longer at the moment, and replaced by IT. This shift suggests growing interest in the subject of technology and a decline upon Drama and religious studies changing educational priorities over time.
