The pie charts compare the propotion of student on adult education center taking part in different courses in 1948 and this year. Overall, mordern languages accounted for the major shares in 1985 whereas IT was surpassed and became the most popular nowadays. It is also noticeable that music appreciation course was not be choosen this year.
To be more specific, the percentage of students joining in morden languages and dance class was 24% and 22% respectively in 1985. By this year, at the third place, students learned art represented 17% while its for music apprecation class was nearly half of that (8%). Moreover, the figures for cookery and local history was almost the same, at 14% for the former and 15% for the later.
Concerning this year, IT recorded the highest participants, at 27% in total. Followed that, fitness and dance was remained its second place, at 22%. Additionally, languages courses and art did not attract students as it was, the survey showed a slight decrease in both classes (17% and 15%). In contrast, cookery class witnessed an upward trend that 19% pupil participated in this class.
