The given pie charts compare the proportion of students enrolling in six courses at the adult education center in 1985 and five courses in the current year.

Overall,Modern languages is the most popular course in 1985 but it has been overtaken by IT in the present year.Meanwhile the proportion of students enrolling in Art and Modern languages has declined,enrolling in cooking has increased.Additionally,What is also notable from the chart is that Music appreciation and Local history has been removed and IT has appeared in 2024.

In 2024,nearly a quarter of students chose Modern languages such as French ,German and Spanish.This was followed by Fitness and dance courses,which accounted for 22% of the total enrollment.Art attracted 17% of students ,slightly higher than Cookery and Local history,which accounted for 14% and 15%.The last one is Music appreciation which was the least popular,which only 8% in 1985.

This year,Art and Modern languages have decreased modestly in enrollment,which falling to 15 and 17 percents in the present years.While Fitness hasn’t showed any changes of the proportion of students,it still keeping around 22% from 1985 to this year.Finally,the most special of the 2024 chart are the dissapearance of Music appreciation and Local history ,instead of the apperance of IT ,which attracted the highest amount of enrollment,around 27% and has begun the most popular course in 2024.
