The pie chart compare the propotion of university students in UK who used five different types of transport to travel to university in 2015 and 2019
Overall, private cars were the most popular transport in 2015, while buses became the most popular choice in 2019. Additionally, propotion of students go to school by car are decreased extremely, while bus useage increased significantly over the period.
In 2015, travelling by car accounted for the largest share, with 40% students. Buses are the second choice, accounted for 20%. While subway and bikes were used 15% by students. Walking was the least common method, only accounted for 10%.
By 2019, the propotion of students using buses had increased considerbly to 35%, became the best choice of transport. In contrast, the percentage of students using cars are reduced noticebly to 25%. The propotion of walking and cycling both 15%, while using subway is decreased slightly to 10% and became the least used option.
