The given pie charts demonstrate the amount of water is used in six different location of the world for various purposes.
Overall, it is observed that most water water is used for agricultural use in most of the areas, except in North America and Europe.
It is apparent from the charts, the large portion of water is used for industrial purpose in North America and Europe, that stands for 48% and 53% respectively. Meanwhile, the numbers appear meager for industrial purpose in other locations, 5% in Central Asia, 7% in Africa, 10% in South America, and 12% in South East Asia. In addition, the water usage for domestic purpose does not exceed over 20%. For instance, in South America is 19% which is the highest and lowest in Central Asia and South Asia, both hold 7% of the chart.
However, more than 70% water is used for agriculture in most of the areas, whereas the number is below 40% for North America and Europe. From the charts, it is visible that South America uses 71% of the whole water and the number is 84%, 88% and 81% for Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia respectively. Besides this, 39% and 32% of the water is for agriculture in North America and Europe.
