Overall, it can be seen that Rolex was the most profitable company throughout, and AP, Longines – the least in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
A closer look at the chart reveals that, Rolex, Omega, and Cartier were the most profitable companies in 2020, with values 39.5%, 15.6%, and 14.5% respectively. Out of these three companies only Rolex’s sales incremented by around 7% in the next year. Cartier on the other hand outperformed and became the second largest retailer in 2021 with 13.8% of market share.
On the other end of the spectrum, Patek, Longines, and AP were the least profitable companies in 2020, each valued roughly at 10%. AP was ranked the last in the mentioned year, but outperformed its competitors and became the fourth largest manufacturer in 2021
