The pie chart compares the South African management workforce situation based on different races and ethnicities while bar graph illustrates the same propation in the public and private sectores in 2015/16.
Overall, it is evident that white people dominant in top management level and also control the majority of private sector job. Additionally, public sector shows more progress toward diversity, particularly for African people.
Diving deeper into the specific, the bar graph shows African individuals predominant the public sector, with 73,2% holding top management position, whereas in the private sector, their apperance was significantly reduced to 10,8%, white individuals, however, made up 72,4% of top management in the private sector but held only 12,6% in the public sector . Indian and Coloured individuals were more balanced across both sectors. Notably,foreign nationals were more represented in the private sector (3,6%) than in the public sector (0,4%).
In terms of pie chart, white individuals held the larger part, accounting for 68,2% of these position. This way followed by African individuals, who made up 14,3% and Indian individuals at 8.6%. Coloured individuals covered with a marginal difference at 4.7% while foreign nationals represented the smallest group at 3,5%.
