Overall, it is clear that during dinner was the most common time of the meal where a person can consume most of the sodium, saturated fat and added sugar. Additionally, significantly a high percentage of consumption during lunchtime.
Looking first at the consumption on sodium, nearly half of the dinner meal (43%) is made of sodium, making he most high in sodium intake. Lunch meal was the second high in sodium. In comparission, snacks accounted for 14%, the same with breakfast of 14%.
Turning to the consumption of saturated fat, a similar pattern can be observed, although figures were almost the same as the daily consumption of sodium. Dinner has the high percentage of saturated fat, with about 37%, followed by Lunch at 26&. meanwhile, 21% of saturated fat during snacks and 16% in breakfast meal.
Finaly, if we look into the daily intake of added sugar, a big change can be observed. the high percentage of sugar is during snacks with a 42%. notably, each meal that the average person in the USA intake in a day consist of sugar.
