The two bar charts illustrate the destination of the United kingdom graduates and postgraduates (Part-Time Work, Voluntary Work, Further Study, Unemployment) excluding full-time work in 2008.
An overview of the findings indicates that further study accounted for the highest destination figure of the UK graduates and postgraduates, while voluntary work reported the lowest figures.
To begin with, among UK graduates, further study had the highest figure, with 29,665 students, whereas part-time work reported the lowest figure, with 17,735 students. Meanwhile, unemployment recorded the third-lowest number of students, at 16,235, while 3,500 voluntary students represented the lowest figure among all categories.
In contrast, for UK postgraduates, further study again recorded the highest figure, with 2,725 students, though part-time work followed closely with 2,535 students. Moreover, unemployment experienced the third-lowest figure, with just 1,620 students, while 345 voluntary work students once again recorded the lowest figure among the categories during the period.
