Overall, while the recycle collected from home declined, the percentage of recycled waste taken to stations and the figure for unknown category remained stable. Besides, recycling from items that were returned to supplier had a fluctuation.
First of all, recycling from collected bins at home was dominant recycle form throughout the given period, starting at 78% in 1980 but it fell to 72% in 2000. Additionally, the proportion of recycled materials from allocated areas began at 12% and increased by 5%, then remained stable at 18% in the last period.
Meanwhile, the amount of recycling that were returned to their original starting point was at 7% but experienced a minimal drop to 5% before rising to 8% in 2000. In contrast, the recycle for unknown category accounted for the lowest proportion and it remained stable at 3%.
Regarding the proportion of recycling, it showed a significant increased over time, beginning at 7% to 33%. compared to the figure for unrecycling that show a considerable drop from 93% to 67%.
