The bar charts compare the satisfaction rate of students with different university facilities in the UK in 2007. Overall, the proportion of postgraduates who were satisfied with the cafeteria and school rooms in the university was consistently higher than that of undergraduates, while the opposite was true for school facilities. Interestingly, the satisfaction of students with school rooms has similar results.
Regarding the satisfaction with school rooms, 62% of students were satisfied with school rooms, while accounting for 25% of these students were not happy with this facility. And, 13% of the total were quite happy. Likewise, postgraduates also showed an identical trend.
With respect to the university cafeteria, the satisfaction rate with this facility was higher at 73% among postgraduates, while 52% of undergraduates were happy with that. Quite satisfied and not satisfied made up 11%, and 16% of postgraduates, compared to 26% and 22% of undergraduates, respectively.
The figures for undergraduates who were very satisfied with the school infrastructure, representing 85%, and 14% of students were quite satisfied, while 1% of students were not happy with this. Postgraduates showed less satisfaction with this facility, making up 43%. Unsatisfied and quite happy postgraduates accounted for 25% and 32%, respectively.
