The pie charts illustrate the level of satisfaction among undergraduates and postgraduates with school rooms, university cafeteria, and school facilities at a particular university in the United Kingdom in the year 2007.
Overall, most students in both groups showed high satisfaction with each facility. While postgraduates were more satisfied than undergraduates, the proportion of satisfaction among postgraduates was lower than that among undergraduates in terms of school facilities.
With school rooms, the number of students who were very satisfied in undergraduates accounted for 62%, which demonstrated that they were very happy with this infrastructure, followed by the levels of not satisfied and quite satisfied at 25% and 13%, respectively. There was a similar trend in postgraduates with 63% of students being very satisfied, while the figures for not satisfied and quite satisfied were 23% and 14%.
With respect to university cafeteria, at 73%, the proportion of being very satisfied among postgraduates was considerably higher than that of undergraduates, while the respective numbers for quite satisfied and not satisfied were 16% and 11%. These figures showed that these amenities received lower ratings from undergraduates, among whom only 52% were very satisfied, 26% were not satisfied and 22% were quite satisfied.
By contrast, school facilities gained the highest approval from undergraduates, the number of people being very satisfied was the dominant portion of the pie chart, at 85%, whereas the figures for postgraduates were notably lower, at 43%. This striking disparity suggests that postgraduates may have stricter expectations regarding school facilities.
