The line graph shows the changes in the number of people online around the around the world in a 7-years period since 2005, while the pie chart illustrates the distribution of users located in six different regions in 2013.

Overall, the number of people using the Internet increased, with the highest concentration of users found in the USA & Canada.

Looking at the line graph, there was a steady growth in the number of people online for the first four years, rising from 26 million to 195 million in 2009. After that, the number had changed dramatically by 256 million to 451 million in 2010, before it went up more slowly, reaching 580 million people in 2012.

Turning to the pie chart, the higest proportion of users in 2013 was located in the USA and Canada, making up 53%. Following that, the distribution of them in Europe and Asia Pacific accounted for 24% and 15%, respectively. While the precentage of users in South Africa constituted 6% of the total, Africa and Middle East stood at the lowest at 1%, each
