Overall, it is apparent that USA and France were main nuclear producers while hydropower ranked first in India and Finland. Besides, fossil fuel production was the least common among all countries except Finland.
Turning to details, nuclear industry was the leading provider of electricity in USA and France with the latter standing first with staggering 87%. It was closely followed by hydropower, albeit with large difference between the figures of two countries. (38% and 13% respectively). In the USA, more than one-tenth of electricity was contributed by fossil fuel while in France this figure was non-existent.
As for remaining countries, hydropower took the lead with 63% and 50% in Finland and India respectively. Fossil fuel secured the second position in India with 37% — a figure seven times higher than that of in India. 45% of electricity was generated by nuclear in India.
