The bar charts illustrate three different sources of air pollution – electricity generation, transportation, and industry – in China, America, Japan, and Australia for the year 2021. Among the various countries, the pollution levels from electricity generation are relatively lower than those from the other two sources. Transportation and industrial pollution show fluctuations across the four countries.
In China, all forms of pollution are significantly higher compared to the other countries, with levels reaching approximately 60 PPM for electricity generation, 70 PPM for transportation, and 80 PPM for industry. In contrast, Australia exhibits very low pollution levels, with some sources measuring below 20 PPM. In America, transportation stands out as the highest contributor to pollution, peaking at around 60 PPM, while electricity generation and industry both hover around 30 PPM.
In Japan, industry pollution is recorded at about 45 PPM. Furthermore, electricity generation in Japan is very well controlled, resulting in pollution levels of less than 20 PPM.
