Afterwards, it increased considerably and reached its peak at precisely 7 million in 2014. Additionally, this was followed by grape and raspberry types. Although in the first year, the unit sales of the former only stood at roughly 0,5 million and that of the latter was around 2,8 million, both of them experienced a significant growth, finishing at approximately 3,5 and 4,5 million, respectively.
Concerning the remaining categories, this period observed a remarkable drop in plum jam, compared to the fluctuation in cherry one. In 2009, plum jam accounted for the third largest unit sales before hitting a low of roughly 0 million units in the last year. Furthermore, consumers purchased about 1,9 million units of cherry jam in 2009. Subsequently, it saw a fluctuation around 2 million over the first two years, prior to rising at roughly 3 million by 2014.
