The bar chart shows the percentage of men in a particular country who like watching sports compared to those who like participating in sports. Overall, it can be seen that football, rugby, basketball, badminton, and horse riding and racing had more men watching them than men who joined in them. Meanwhile, fishing saw the reverse pattern.
Regarding the number of males who watch sports, football had the highest percentage, which was almost 50%. Ranking second in popularity was horse riding and racing at below 45%. Additionally, there was 37.5% of male spectators in basketball, which is almost twice as many as those who watched fishing at under 15%. More than 25% of male spectators liked watching both rugby and badminton.
In terms of sportsmen, while fishing had the highest percentage of men who participated, which was 50%, football had the lowest percentage of male participation, at merely 12%. Basketball and badminton were ranked second with 25%, making slightly more popular than rugby, at under 25%. Only 12.5% were sportsmen who chose to participate in horse riding and racing, which ranked fourth in the bar chart
