The process provides the steps that need to be taken to produce recycled paper.
Overall, this process is comprised of four major steps, starting with the collection of waste paper from various sources and ending with the reproduction of usable paper..
In the first step of the process, recycled paper is placed onto a conveyor belt. After that, used paper is mixed with water and chemical agents, which are all broken down into mini fibers, forming a slurry-like pulp. Afterwards, a filtration process is carried out to aid the removal of impurities.
In the next stage of the process, air, water, and soap, which are used to clean the pulp, eliminate ink. Following this, the removal of the mixture’s impurities is done by adding water and chemicals. After the last phase of cleaning, the cleaned pulp is put onto another conveyor belt, which helps the pulp dry engaging the use of heated rollers. Finally, the paper is then wound into rolls of recycled paper, ready for use or another purpose.
