The illustration depicts how used papers are recycled. The four-step cycle begins with the used papers and ends with the production of new products. This is achieved by turning different newspapers back into pulp that can be turned into a range of recycled papers.
The process starts with the placement of used papers on a conveyor belt, which are then achieved the pulp making process. At step 1, the papers are dropped into liquid, which consists of water and chemicals, and resulting to unfiltered pulp. So, the unfiltered pulp passes into a filtering process.
Through this process, filtered pulp comes out and is dropped into a water tank, which mixed with soap. The air pumper is connected to the tank in order to pump air. Then, the ink-absorbed filtered pulp is put into the tank. The substance is then put into another container, including water and chemicals, resulting in clean pulp.
At step 5, clean pulp is dropped into a conveyor belt and by the heated rolls, flattens paper and removes excess water.
