The diagram depicts the treatment of water for consumers use. There are about six stages in this process, and all of them shows how water is cleaned for residents.
Overall, it is clear that this process comprises different several steps. Initially, the water is first taken from sources, such as lakes. It is filtered and cleaned afterwards and stored for houses in huge tanks.
To begin with, the main water source from the illustration is lakes. Then, the water goes into the coagulation stage via pipes, where a liquid is injected in the water and a circular motion is applied to it. Moreover, the sedimentation stage starts where sediments are removed.
The fourth stage is done by filtering the water from tiny particles that it might contain. Furthermore, the water is disinfected (which means killing bacteria and other microbes) and making it safe for people. Finally, the water is stored and will be ready to use.
