The image illustrates the stages involved in the production of ketchup.
Overall, the process consists of 15 different stages, beginning with picking tomatoes and ending with distributing the end product to supermarkets and consumers.
Initiating the process, the ripe tomatoes are picked and placed in the baskets after which they are sorted into good ones and bad ones. Good tomatoes are sent to a ketchup factory using a truck. Having been delivered, their skin, seeds and stalk are then removed. They are then placed into a container where they are crushed. Once they are crushed, sugar, vinegar and salt are added. In the next stage, the mixture are boiled and then left for two hours to cool off.
Having been cooled off, the mixture are bottled and labelled. They are then underwent a quality control which inspects the quality of the product. Finally, the bottles are placed into boxes and delivered to supermarkets where consumers buy it to eat with hamburgers and fries.
