The chart represents the number of male and female students at Redwood Secondary School who used the internet from 1995 to 2002. Overall, there were increasing in number of students who used the internet in both gender from year to year. While both gender experienced a general raise in internet usage, the rise was more pronounced, especially between 1995 and 1996.
In 1995, approximately more than 100 male students used the internet, while less than 100 female students accessed it. By 1996, there was a sharp rise in both genders who accessed the internet. Number of both genders were almost twice higher than the last year, which resulted to around 190 male and 175 female students used the internet. Over the next year, there was roughly increase of 50 students in each gender that leads to almost 250 male and 225 female students accessed the internet. In 1998, the number of female students who used the internet surpassed the male for the first time which peaked at nearly 300 students. Over the years until 2002, there was no significant movement of Redwood Secondary School students internet usage, with approximately 320 students in both gender accessed the internet in 2002.
In summary, the number of Redwood Secondary School students who used the internet was consistently higher throughout the period, with the most notable uprising happened between 1995 and 1996.
