The line graph shows changes in bananas prices in four countries over 10 years from 1994 and 2004.
Overall, the cost of bananas in Japan and USA experienced a substantially increase, except for the remained two’s, such as France and Germany, which were decreased. That is to say, that Japan had the highest price, as at the start and as at the end of the period, maintaining lidership; however USA increased too. France and Germany have fluctuated, but at the end started to cost lower than it was at the beginning.
Considering countries, where prices of bananas were changed, Japan experienced a significant increase. At the start of the period, when it cost only 1.80$, despite some instabilities in 1995, when bananas price were at 2.80$, towards to the end it found 2.60$. Other country, where bananas price was increased is the USA. In 1994 it had the lowest price with 0.80$; however after slight price increase in 1998 to 1.30$ and one year later it have decreased for 10 cents, it remained steady for the next 5 years.
As for the other countries, France stay remained at early 4 years with 1.65$, but after this period it started fluctuating and at the end price was at 1.60$. In 1994 bananas in Germany costed 1.49$ and with some instabilities after decade it started to cost 1.10$.
