The diagram illustrate how a salmon was born and how it turned back to nature in a life span.
First, when the upper river moves slowly, the salmon eggs lay down reeads and small stones about 5 to 6 months then they turn to small fish with only 3 to 8 centimeters through “fry” process. Next, thoes fish comes to a step called “smolt” for approxiamately 4 years with a lower river flow fastly and they getting big with 12 to 15 centimeters, double times bigger than the “fry” step. Then, after nearly 5 year, in an open sea, the salmon has grown up and take about 70 to 76 centimeters long. In this step, they have a responsibility to give birth and the life circle begins again.
In conclusion, there are three steps in a life circle process of a salmon, beginning with “fry” salmon to “smolt” fish and end up with adult salmons after more than 9 years.
