The diagram illustrates the life cycle of salmons. The process invovles three stages, beginning with salmon eggs, ending with adult salmons.
In the first stage,salmon eggs are growing in a slow moving upper river, which contains numerous reeds and small stones for five to six moths. After that, the salmon eggs turn into fries, which are approximatey three to eight cm, they are living in a lower river with fast flowing for about four years.
In the following stage, the smoles which between twelve to fifteen cm long, have changed their habitat into the open sea for five years. Next, they have grew into adult salmons which are almost seventy six cm. In the end, the process starts all over again.
