The diagrams provide information about the school’s layout in 1985 and how it has been altered over time until today. Overall, the school has experienced significant changes over the period, especially in terms of the addition of new facilities and an increase in student capacity, while the car park has also been enlarged.
In 1985, the school population stood at 1,500 and main facilities included an office, library, two-storey classroom block, and car park. These were all located on the left side of the map, adjacent to a large open field on the right-hand side. The car park was relatively small and situated next to the main road at the top of the school site.
At present, the student population has grown to 2,300, and several changes have been introduced to accommodate this expansion. The classroom block has been extended to three storeys, and additional classrooms have been constructed to the east of it. The former library has been replaced with a resource centre, alongside which a computer room and extra classrooms have been added. Furthermore, new recreational facilities, namely a swimming pool and a fitness centre, have been built on the western side of the field, although a portion of the open space still remains.
Finally, the car park has been expanded to cover the entire northern section of the site, occupying an area much larger than in 1985.
