Overview, the structural design of room separation and furnitures supplementary between two maps have several visible differences. In the initial design, there are total 5 rooms and only offers adult fiction books, children services and reference areas for inquiry. While in the renovated structures focusing on adding more books categories and other facilities.
On the first layout, the entire building was divided into 3 sides which comprising 5 rooms. On the left sides, adult books has been occupied and splitted into 2 rooms for fiction and non-fiction purposes. The entire sides on the right was providing services for solely children. Finally, the reference areas settled at the middle of building.
Conversely, the reconstruction of the previous design has demonstrated a substantial modification, which purposely aimming to extend the areas and construct more amenties. Firstly, the total of rooms has extended to 7 rooms, which included some new categories such as magazines and reading sectors, and each of them are positioned side-by-side at the middle. The size of children services and reference rooms were diminished and similar to the rooms that exhibiting adult books, which are both positioned near the magazines room. A notable addition was the garden, located beside the children’s room. Despite these changes, the adult rooms is completely unchanged throughout the renovation.
