The maps illustrate the various changes of a small local museum and its surrounding spaces over a period of 50 years from 1957 to 2007.
What stands out from the maps is that the local museum and its surrounding experienced remarkable developments during the period shown. Most noticeably, this building was expanded to become a very large museum and the number of trees which were out of the building, cut down a significant number.
Looking first at the environs of the building in 2007, the lines of trees had been removed from the roadside, the similar situation with the trees which were on the left and on the rear of the museum. The entrance hall was removed from the middle position leading to the museum in 1957 to the East South of the building after 50 years and a car park was built by the roadside.
In terms of the building itself, the entrance was removed to the left-hand side of the building, where a museum shop was erected. From there, visitors can go to a reception room. A cafe was constructed to replace the museum storage room. The national history exhibition was demolished to make way for the local history room in 2007. A special exhibitions room and an education center were added by the local history room.
