The given maps illustrate information about how a public museum was changed between 1957 and 2007.
Looking from an overall perspective, a comparison of the two reveals extensive development in facilities.
From 1957 to 2007, the number of trees located in the northwest dropped remarkably in the 50 years of the building’s surroundings, and therefore, only a few trees remained in the northwest area of the gallery. In the center of the area, this building is expanded to a new shop on the left, and both new special exhibitions and an education center at the top of the building. In the heart of the gallery, the national history exhibition was relocated to a local history room. In addition, the local history room, the main hall, and the store room were both converted into the reception and the coffee shop. In front of the souvenir shop, a new entrance was built to create the best customer experience journey. After all of the trees were cut in the west, a car park was constructed to serve visitors. Additionally, the small trail leading from the main road to the gallery has been demolished because visitors can easily access this destination without anything obstructing their view.
