The maps illustrate the changes that took place at a local museum and its surrounding area between 1957 and 2007.
In general, when comparing the two maps, we can see that the museum building has been expanded with many additional facilities; however, it is easy to see that the green area has decreased significantly over the past 50 years.
In 1957, there were many trees in front of the museum, behind the museum and to the left of the museum. However, by 2007, the number of trees had decreased significantly and only a few trees remained on the northwest side. In addition, the National History Gallery room was converted into a local history room. At the same time, the former local history room, the main entrance, was moved to the left and the previous entrance was replaced by a reception desk and a cafe. Another significant change is that the building itself has undergone significant changes. In 1957, the museum had only 3 rooms with the museum gallery on the left, the local history room on the right and the national history room on the top. But after 50 years, in 2007, the museum was expanded to a total of 5 rooms, the museum built a special exhibition on the left and the education center on the right at the top.
In addition, there is a museum shop on the left side adjacent to the garden. In addition, the main road and all the trees on the fifth side have been removed and made room for a parking lot. In short, the museum building has undergone significant expansion and modernization.
