There are two flow diagrams provided .The first diagram illustrates the process of making glass containers, specifically bottles,while second one shows how they are recycled.
Overall, in the glass production process , four steps are required to create the containers, followed by about five steps for converting them into other items.
The first stage involves mixing materials such as sand , soda ash,limestone and other chemicals.This mixture is the melted in a furnace at approximately 1500 degrees Celsius. The hot glass is hated by blowing and turned into glass containers .
During the second stage , which focuses on recycling,all used containers are collected and their colors are separated . The next step involves removing impurities . Subsequently, the sorted bottles are crushed, melted,and molded to create new products.
