The process illustrates the production of orange juice. Overall, it entails multiple steps involved in two main stages: cleaning oranges and making juice in different ways.
The linear process commences with delivering the newly picked harvest to the factory, where almost all steps take place. Once thoroughly cleaned to remove any impurities, the skin of fruits is extracted by passing through a machine. While the solid waste is disposed of as a source of animal food, the extracted fresh juice is either packaged for sale in supermarkets or loaded in a refrigerated truck to take them for the evaporation process.
The second phase of the process is an extensive and labor-intensive one. After having some water removed, the juice is canned and labeled before being stored in warehouses by specific factory vehicles. Subsequently, they are delivered to the factories again to add water and then put into custom-designed packages to sell in markets for consumers.
