The graph provides information about the process of potato chips being made in the factory. Overall, this is a man-made linear process that consists of seven main stages, starts with checking potato quality and ends with a bulk can filler process.
First of all, the process began with checking potato quality by the laborers. Secondly, qualified potatoes are moved in a washing machine that is washed by cold rinse water in order to remove the mud that is placed in the potatoes. After cleaning the potatoes then send them to the peeler machine to remove potato’s peels and starch. Subsequently, the potatoes are placed on the bucket conveyor and enter the slicer machine to cut into slices. Before these slices into a deep fryer, they undergo drying in the felt bad conveyor.
Once fries the potato chips being salted then placed into a belt conveyor to do a packing process. The packing process is divided into two sides; bag packing and bulk can filler.
