The Diagram shows the various steps to remove salt from sea water.
In general, the process includes six different stages to refine seawater into drinkable water.
At the first stage, sea water is taken to the refinery by the pipe system, then it is filtered by the pre-treatment filter, and the filtered water is entered the next stage, also the impure water is returned to the sea. At the third stage, water is forced through the membrane at high pressure, which cause to separates the salt from seawater, and the impure water is returned to the sea; On the contrary, the water molecules are entered into the next stage.
Next, water is purified with lime, chlorine, and fluoride. After these stages, water is healthy and drinkable. Consequently, the healthy water is saved in the storage tank. At the last stage in the process, the pure water is supplied to the consumer by using the pipes.
