The map illustrates the changes in Shakefield town between 1995 and now.
In general, Shakefield has become a much more modern town, with far more facilities.
One interesting change is that a golf course and tennis course have been constructed. In 1995, there was farmland in the upper right of the map, but today this place is more modern. Another striking change is that the old fish boat has been knocked down, and a yacht has been added to the sea to attract more people.
If we look at the west side of the map, a new car park has been built. The northeast of the town has seen small changes; just houses have expanded. Just under the housing, there was a sports area, but it has been transformed into a restaurant. In the eastern side, there was the fish market, but it has been made into new apartments, and next to this building, the coffee room has been reconstructed near its original place. And the final interesting development is that, in the center of the map, there was a public park with lots of trees, but the trees have been cut down and holiday homes constructed.
