Overall, the cycle is a life cycle which consists of 5 stages: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, young adult’s emergence and full grown adult – approximately taking four to five weeks.
At the beginning of the cycle, the egg hatches into a caterpillar’s larva, which grows substantially in it’s size. Subsequently, it transforms into a chrysalis, experiencing transformating process where it morphs into a butterfly.
Young adult emerges with wet and soft wings. It takes some time for the butterfly to fully dry them off. Often 2-3 days. Afterwards, it spread it’s strengthen wings and finally enter into the adult life.
