The figure depicts the process of making sugar from sugarcane. There are several steps for making sugar, from collecting sugarcane from the land to packaging the end product, sugar, after drying and cooling.
Firstly, matured sugarcanes are collected from the land by a giant machine or cut by human hands and put into a large crushing machine to extract the juice from the sugarcane. After that, the juice is filtered through a limestone filter.
Next, the fresh juice is heated in an evaporation process, where the water evaporates and the juice turns into syrup. Then, the syrup passes through a centrifugal system to separate the crystals from the syrup. After going through a drying and cooling process, these crystals turn into sugar.
