The picture illustrates how 400 ripe of grapes are processed in order to produce one bottle of wine.
Overall, the diagram highlights that it is important for specific amount of grapes to undergo a number of treatments before it can be made into a bottle of wine. The process is still a complex and lengthy one despite being mostly done by machinery rather than by hand
in the initial stages of the process, the 400 grapes are gathered before taken to the machinery in order to be made 3000ml juice. Then, the liquid is kept in the container for fermentation for two weeks. After two weeks fermented liquid is sent to hydraulic press and unwanted parts are thrown for compost. After the pressing stage, 1000 ml liquid taken to the filter and the collected waste is again composted.
In the last stage the willing amount of filtered juice is poured into big barrels where it is left for certain period. Subsequently the 750 ml wine is taken out of the barrels and placed in one bottle. Once the bottle of wine is ready, it is loaded onto a lorry and delivered to supermarkets to be sold.
