This diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing glass containers with nine steps. Overall, most processes rely on machinery, although there is only once checking products by humans before shipping. A total four different machines are used to product a glass container.
First, looking at steps 1 to 4. Gathering glass fragments and placing them together to the furnace which heats up to 105 degrees Celsius to combine them into a single mass glass. The second step is pressing it in Mould 1, forming a thick and wall container. Moreover, it respectively transforms to Mould 2, reshaping a wider and rounder feature with air.
Turning to after creating the form of a glass container. Step 6 is kiln; after formed glass put into the adjustable temperature machine and then reheated up to 482 degrees Celsius, which is almost four times hotter than the first step. Whereas it turns to high temperature completely, the next process is cooling, remaining the glass in the same machine at 25 degrees Celsius for an hour to create form firmly. Lastly, containers inspected manually, dividing into glass waste or products for a customer.
