The two maps illustrate changes that have occurred in Liverton during a 40-year period, beginning in 1980 and continuing to these days.
Overall, the area transformed from actively functional port into a modern one. It is clear that new access across the river has been installed with residential, educational, and leisure facilities being introduced.
During 1980s, two coasts were facilitated by three warehouses, from which two warehouses were located above the river and one in the middle of the south coast. Three cranes could be seen to be situated as warehouses: two in northern coastal area, and one in the southeast of Liverton. Moreover, a considerable number of ships can be seen to transport goods through the river.
Nowadays, there has been installed a bridge with a flood bareer behind it in the east of the river. Also, a warehouse, which was located in the northwest of Liverton was replaced by the education center and a newly built sailing club on the right of it. The second warehouse was removed to make a way for a playground for children. There have been significant changes to the coast above the river. A crane was replaced by a hotel, while parking and apartments were constructed in the center. A new river walk was added beside these facilities in order to provide a connection between them.
