The image compares two maps of Liverton Docks, one from 1980 and another from the present day. In 1980, the layout included two separate warehouses, four ships, and two cranes; the central positioning included a row of three ships with an additional ship parallel to a warehouse on the lower side, with cranes positioned at the northwestern and southern ends, and warehouses at the northern end and mid-south. Currently, the layout has transformed: the northern area now contains an education centre, a sailing club, a kid’s playing area, and a flood barrier. The southeastern region now features a ship museum, while the southern area includes a hotel, apartments, and parking. Additionally, a bridge spans from east to west across the flood barrier area, connecting the northern docks to the southern infrastructure.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The graphic illustrates the variations that occurred in Liverton docks since 1980.
Overall, the Liverton docks used to be a business transport hub in 1980 but it was converted to sports, residential and education area.
First of all, the warehouse on the North-West bank of the river was converted to education center, While, the crane situated adjacent to it’s right was replaced by a sailing club. However, the warehouse on North-East bank was removed completely, and replaced by kid’s playing area. Furthermore, on the South side of the bank, there used to be a warehouse which was renowed to an apartments building. A parking was built to it’s eastern side, while, a hotel was constructed to it’s western side. Additionally, a walking path was also built to the front of this complex , right at the bank of the river, leading all the way to the bridge. A flood barrier was also built right at the Eastern end of the river. Subsequently, the ships used for transportation were also removed, instead, only one museum ship is situated today in the river.
