The diagram presents information about the proportion of population of men and women aged above fifteen who can read and write in different region.

it can be seen that male in every region have percentage over 50% and more than female. On the other hand only female in Africa that percentage have not reached 50%. In Europe men and woman have the highest percentage close to 100% with Africa have the lowest percentage in all the region. Moreover Oceania, Amarica and Europe have the propotion of male and female almost the same with men have slightly more than women.

According to the chart every region have significantly proportion of person aged above fifteen who can read and write though Africa have slightly less than others.
