The maps illustrate how a library has changed from five years ago to the present day.
Overall, the library has been modernised with a change from traditional reading spaces and study areas. In addition, several facilities have been reused or upgraded in order to accommodate students for study needs.
Five years ago, there was a classroom, meeting room and a borrowing and returning desk on the left-hand side. Nowadays, the classroom has been converted into a recording studio, while the meeting room remains unchanged. In addition, the borrowing and returning desk has been separated into two different areas such as: borrowing section and a returning section.
Previously, there were studying stables in the center, a desk for computers on the right, and a library office in the bottom-right corner. Now, the library office has been removed and replaced by a conference room. The studying tables have been replaced by private studying tables, demanding on individual learning spaces. Furthermore, the computer desk has been transformed into a desk for students’ laptops, and an additional laptop desk area has been added at the bottom of the map. Finally, the bookshelves at the top of both maps remain in the same position.
