The maps show changes between the existing plan and the proposed one of a gallery.
Overall, there are major differences in terms of arrangement layout and displayed contents. In particular, there will be a completely separate entrance and more space for exhibition.
In the East, at present, visitors enter the gallery through the entrance door which leads into a lobby. However, this entrance will be supplanted by a new one from the Parkinson court side which leads directly into the permanent exhibition. In place of the lobby and office now, these two areas will be removed and replaced with an education area and a small storage area according to the new plan.
The central area is divided into two parts including the permanent exhibition space and the temporary one which later on will be eradicated to amplify the permanent exhibition space. Finally, to the West, the current area which isn’t a part of the existing gallery, will be expanded in order to erect a special exhibition space and also a new exhibition store.
