Band 4+: The diagrams below show a structure that is used to generate electricity from wave power.

Image for topic: The diagrams below show a structure that is used to generate electricity from wave power.
Our system will evaluate the answer based on this AI-generated description.
The image displays two diagrams labeled A and B which depict the process of generating electricity using waves. Both diagrams show a wave approaching a cliff or sea wall with a turbine located above a chamber. In diagram A, the wave causes water to rise and compress air in the column, turning the turbine to generate electricity. In diagram B, the wave recedes, pulling air through the turbine in the same direction to generate electricity.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.
Note: Both the topic and the answer were created by one of our users.

The given pictures show a man made construction site for the production of electricity with the help of wave power.

Overall, a simple system is build beside the wall of sea or cliff which consists of column , turbine and chamber. It’s function depends on the rise and fall of the sea wave .The two process diagrams are given.

With regards to the first diagram, when the sea wave enters to the chamber the column pulls up the air due to this , air pressure is created. The turbine rotates in clockwise direction because of the air pressure. The dynamic energy produced by the rotation of turbine converts into the electrical energy.

On the other hand, the second diagram involves the reverse process of the first diagram. When the wave reflects back , the air goes down to the column and it generates the air pressure which rotates the turbine in clockwise direction and it also produced the electricity.
