The maps show how transforms town name of Bridgetown between 1700 to 2000.

Overall, plants which was in the past disappeared to 2000, also road was constructed in their place on left and on the right they built railway line . However, the house has been completely changed, at the same time number of trees near the house had decreased.

In 1700 in Bridgetown was a small rural settlement. The town was divided by a river and to the north of the river there was a market Place located beside the road. In addition, castle was located near to river. Also, between castle and marketplace has been woods. Furthermore, over the river was a bridge, which connected with road. Finally, in southern side of road had farmland on both side.

In 2000, the market remained in place, but it has been higher. Between market and wood constructed railway line, so wood has decreased. The castle has changed to school. Moreover, in order to new bypassing road, created build-up areas. Therefore, all woods in farmland cut down.
