The maps illustrate how a Bridgetown was developed over three centuries from 1700 to 2000.
Overall, it is clear that although the town remained relatively unchanged, the town underwent some facilities, with constructing a railway line, bypass and the replacement of a castle by a school throughout the period.
In the initial year, there was a river flowing from the site of southwest to the north-east site of the area, which separated market place, castle and farmland. There was a bridge in the middle of the town, which connected a road running from northwest to the east. There were also woods which were placed behind of the castle and above the market place.
In 2000, although the area was stood the same, some facilities were added. While a castle was replaced by the school, the railway line was constructed running from east site of that town, to the northwest just above the road. A bypass which connected to the road was also built.
